Are the FTP servers down? I could not connect to it. I am connecting to xo5.x10hosting.com, port 12.

I used the FTP settings XML for Filezilla that I got from the FTP accounts page on the CPanel.

Looking forward to your reply. Thanks.

Try using the login FTP Settings when you login to your CPanel using your account username and password.

I wonder if I'm the only one having issues with FTP.

Any of you having issues with FTP or it just me?

It still didn't work. That's the one I always use. Then I tried downloading the XML setup file for Filezilla and still didn't work. I just created a new FTP account, and still no luck. I just hope someone would look into this. I've had this account for years, didn't touch it for a while, then last month got the suspension for failing to log-in to my account, the first time it happened, which I was able to quickly recover. Maybe the suspension flagged something and when I unsuspended it, it didn't change back to normal. I don't know.

Hm, I'm not sure. But, it won't hurt to shoot the Support team an email from the email associated with your account, tell them your username and that you're receiving an FTP error code 220 with correct login credentials.

I remember back then that this forum is the only support on free hosting. No email. Won't hurt if I try though. Thanks!

No problem. Yeah, they have that email which they reply to now and a telephone number.

Because FTP error 220 means that a new user/client is trying to establish a connection.
