how do i work MySQL?

well, i wanted to put PHP Nuke 8.0 shoutbox on my page using MySQL but i don't know how to do it or use it.

yeah...... okay i understand it bit more. But i don't know what the "Host" and "user" mean for connecting.

Hi,


host means the server where your database is installed
and
use means the database user you have created there who has access

like : you run php script on x10hosting servers and the database is on the server itself then you host is "localhost"

and user is < u have to create a database first by going into cpanel(mysql database wizard) first..then create a user for it >
