Possible ETA on Magento

My info:

cPanel name: mirageau

I have been trawling through the support forums trying to fix my problems with uploading e-commerce software to my site, and I found a few posts dated in May of this year saying that in order for Magento Ecommerce to work, Bryon has to compile an sql file named pdo_mysql.

I was just wondering if there has been any sort of update on this so far at all. Thankyou!

pdo_mysql was compiled in with our updates last week.

Edit:
Install went fine until I got to the configuration step...

"PHP Extension "pdo_mysql" must be loaded

Please set all required settings before clicking Continue"

On my account page, it says that MySQL is offline, I'm hoping that's the only reason it's not working. In the meantime, I'll try reinstalling it.

Edit: I've completely reinstalled Magento, and the server Lotus is supposedly back online completely now. However I'm still getting the pdo_mysql error. ???
