i have it uploaded and everything, im to the database settings.

what do i put as the:
Database server hostname or DSN:
DSN stands for Data Source Name and is relevant only for ODBC installs.

Try "localhost"

Make sure that you created a user and a database in cpanel. (mysql wizard, I believe)
