So i used fantastico to install SMF, now i'm thinking it was probably a mistake.

How do i find the password to the user created for it for phpMyAdmin access?

Eg:

PHPMYADMIN LOGIN
Username: olliepop_smf2
password: ????????????????????

How do i find that out?
Edit:
Can an administrator please change the password of user: olliepop_smf2 for me and send me an email or something with the password? Thanks

Im going on a limb here, because I've never used Fantastico:

if you go into cPanel -> MySQL Databases
http:// yoursite .com:2082/frontend/x3/sql/index.html

you should see at the bottom some users, just make a new one, give it all permissions, and assign it to your db.

OR, I'm pretty sure your forum has a configuration file. You cannot access it through HTTP but you should be able to access it through FTP, and you can see the name of the MySQL database, the user, and even the password! Hope that helps! :)

Excellent! Thanks! Worked like a charm.

Unforunately the config file password was part of the problem :(
