Hi for some reason we installed Cent OS and got everything back up and running.
Now he website lags 80% of the time. I click a page and it hangs b4 it decides to load.
Also we have a Shout Box and when typing in there its really slow at responding.
I have played with the prefork and nothing what I do is making any difference.

I'm wondering if its the apache that was installed.

How would i uninstall apache and all the configuration that came with it
and reinstall apache to the latest version without any problems.

Ever since my debain setup all went wrong.. For some reason I have tried centos with kloxo, even went back to Debain and now BIND does not start even on a fresh install using install.sh.
Had help from zubair where we have now installed webmins and virtualmin with CentOS 5.5

The website is extremely slow.. Its not usable. U click and wait literally 1 minute for each page to load.
Now this is really frustrating and its really deturing members from the website.
Its been down for atleast 4 days now its been running at super slow speeds for another 3 days.
This is to long. Why is apache so so so slow. What is wrong with the configuration.. Was it installed incorrectly?

I remember when I setup Debain I got some help from some one from here where apache would not load the website at all.
But we change the settings in prefork and it was solved. I have tried playing with this for 3 - 4 days now and its not working.

So right now I'm basically stuck. The website is useless because people cannot navigate. All I am getting is complaints of the website wont load.
Its taking over 1 min to even start loading 1 page and I can't even use it my self.
Its worse than free hosting.

So I dunno what todo.

Are you still having problems with this?
If you are, it could be in your configuration, or that some processes are hanging.
