Hi,
is there any reason why these are disabled? Is it possible to get them enabled, as I'd like to utilise caching to prevent high system resource usage?

Any ideas?

That's a bugger, I really need to use at least GZIP. If I enable them in PHP will that increase resource usages too?

POOP! Is there anyway I can improve the efficiency of my pages, in a similar manner to GZIP or DEFLATE. I'm looking into W3 Total Cache for Wordpress to help my site along for now...

Nonoo, any type of caching will increase resource usage! :)

Do some research about all the plugins you have installed, see which ones use most resource. Alternatively, you could try disabling each one in turn to see which ones are using too much.

If you have IRC, you could ask in #wordpress on freenode as to which ones use too many resources.

Also, any dashboard plugins tend to use quite a few resources - because they all load at the same time.
