Hi! I've tried searching the FAQ's but I'm getting even more confused!
I am trying to view my website(?) using FireFTP but I'm not sure of the correct host Name (address).

Kompozer is what I'll be using to populate it but again the syntax escapes me. Host: Address: Site: Domain: Port: HTTP Port:?? Which is which?

I'd appreciate any help,

Thank you,
Colin

To use FireFTP, input the details below:
Hostname: yoursite.x10.mx
Username: yourcpanelusername
Password: yourcpanelpassword
Port (You may not be asked for this): 21

I am downloading Kompozer to find out the appropriate settings that you need to specify, I'll get back to you as soon as I have an update.

Hello again,

I've done a bit of experimentation with Kompozer. The closest I could find is the "Publish" button. I have built a screenshot at http://toxic-productions.com/x10/instructions.bmp that you can use. Just replace toxic-productions.com with your x10Hosting site name and fill in the FTP Username with your cPanel username

Thank you Gtoxic, I've had a quick look at your screenshot and it seems to make sense to me. I'll going to try and do it later and I'll let you & hbazer know how it turns out.

Thanks Gtoxic, I've finally got it to work although your screenshot worked straight away. My website has text and an image on it now and I'm starting to get the feel of Kompozer which works quite well.

My next step is trying to make links to different pages. I'm enjoying the challenge, thanks to you & hbazer for the legup.
