in x10's great tutorial:
https://community.x10hosting.com/threads/the-how-to-get-your-own-domain-for-free-tk.171405/

I'm trying to point my new .tk domain (kaotica.tk) at my new x10 site kaotica.x10.mx
<snip>
  1. write your x10hosting url in the url box only everything before 10x
  2. Select use DNS write the nameservers for x10: ns2.x10hosting.com and ns1.x10hosting.com each in a separate box
</snip>
but I can't figure out, after selecting "Use DNS", whether to use 'DotTK DNS Service' or 'Your Own DNS';
when I try the former I get "This IP address is not valid" when I put "ns1.x10hosting.com". not sure what to put for "Server Name" or "IP Address" if I select "Your Own DNS".

Thoughts anyone?

cheers

solved: enter the two nameservers ns2.x10hosting.com and ns1.x10.hosting in the "Server Name" fields; leave the IP Address boxes empty - actually figured it out by getting out a magnifying glass and looking at point (2.) above ;-)

Have you added the domain as an addon or parked domain in your x10 cPanel?

Thank you,

It looks good to me. Have you tried clearing your browser's cache?
