The main purpose of my website is retail. I am a partner of Microsoft and Adobe. I will be selling software for these companies. I'm not sure if x10hosting allows this (if not, I'll have to find another host), but my question is, am I able to upload the software files such as the .iso for Microsoft Office for example, or will I have to use a third party website for this? I've read that I can upload files only if it pertains to my website, which these files will but I want to make sure before I do this an risk having my account suspended.

We would need written proof that you are a partner and have permissions to redistribute the softwares for you to be able to sell them off of our free hosting, regardless of where they are actually hosted.
That aside, for a business type of site it would really be recommended to have a premium service. Premium would also allow for ssl for secure payments, something your customers probably would want.
