I am able to login to my account in the x10hosting website but I can't seem to login to DirectAdmin.

Since the day of migration, I've been clicking the "Open Cpanel" button in the in x10hosting main page but it just says the following:

This site can’t be reached
x11.x10hosting.com took too long to respond.

Try:

ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT

So I did some research and found that I can login directly to DirectAdmin using my FTP logins. I was able to do that but that was several months ago (maybe 8 months), I stopped programming for a while since my wife gave birth. Now I plan to go back to this hobby and now I am unable to login to DirectAdmin, it just keeps saying "Hmm, login details do not seem to be correct. Please try again." (how can it be incorrect if I was able to login to the main x10hosting page?)

I also tried to use FileZilla FTP and this is what it says in the logs:

Status: Resolving address of x11.x10hosting.com
Status: Connecting to 198.91.81.11:21...
Error: Connection timed out after 20 seconds of inactivity
Error: Could not connect to server
Status: Waiting to retry...

Please help me login to DirectAdmin so I can access the files that I've been working before. Thank you.

There is no hosting account associated with the forum account you are posting from.

Can you please let us know what your domain is so we can look it up?

Here is what happens. I am able to login to this page.

1.PNG

When I click "Open cPanel", it takes me to this page:

2.PNG

And it just stays on the page, it doesn't redirect me. When I try it again, the same thing happens.

So I tried to login manually in DirectAdmin but it just keeps saying this: 3.PNG

Please help. Thank you.

I've seen an issue where using a password with certain special characters will cause a sync issue with DirectAdmin. It might have been space or quote that was causing it. Can you try resetting your password and using a strong password that doesn't have special characters? Please don't reply with your old password or information about your old password for security reasons.

My password doesn't have any special characters on it. Just numbers and letters but I will try to reset it. Thanks.

My forum and hosting account has the same password before I reset when you suggested on November 7 and no, it didn't work.

I don't think what I did changed anything, but can you try again now?

There's nothing else I can do. An admin will have to look into this.

Staff will reply when they have a chance to.
staff volunteer to help in the free forums and may not always be available.
for faster support you would need a paid account.
just saying.
