    I don't see how this proposal can work because the X10 host always points to http://username.x1host.com no matter what happens within wordpress. In other words, what stops the joomla site being selected in preference to the wordpress one?

    I have a site created with Joomla. I now want to use Wordpress but with new and updated content but using the same domain name as the Joomla one. Do I uninstall the Joomla site or can I park it somehow so that users only access the site created with Wordpress
