I personally prefer the old support ticketing system. This new system is rather annoying, my question being answered by someone who cannot comprehend the fact that I have done numerous tests to see if something works, even on an intranet server.

It connects for me, but services such as Windows Live Messenger and Skype don't connect at all. I've done some diagnostics, it appears the VPN service blocks them. Because a few network tools tells me that it cannot connect to remote host, it is however doing a successful DNS lookup of the services.

I've had a dedicated IP before, but now it's gone... I try to connect to VPN on Windows and Linux, but it fails. It has worked in the past, but all of the sudden it's stopped working.

It works for me... But I agree though that it takes forever, but only on Windows... I'm using Linux as my primary OS, and it works just fine on it... The issue only exists on a Windows platform. Or are you not running Windows?

It's actually not that hard to get it setup on an ISP/Host that doesn't support it. Just use v6 tunneling through v4. A great way to start there is using Freenet6. I believe the package to install through OS repositories is named 'gogoc'. It's entirely free, and does not have a bandwidth limit...

Agreed. My Internet is dual-stacked, and already supports IPv6. I would love to see an automatic rollout of v6 addresses to those who can support it.
