    Thanks for the quick reply. I've now changed the permissions back to 644 for the files, but I'm still getting a 403 forbidden error. Apparently if I attempt to set the directories as 644 but then the file manager doesn't recognize the contents so the directories have to be 755.

    Hello, I'm also dealing with a constant 403 Forbidden. I even dropped the site I had installed and installed another site using Softaculous, still no good. I did check my permissions in the file manager and they are set to 755 which means they should be executable. A little assistance would be nice.
