    Can't access my account.

I had a site (http://svcadm.tk) hosted here. I was sick and hospitalized for a few months. Now I cannot access the control panel. Is it deleted or suspended? Please help :(

pointless ticket system on x10 ?

The word is "patience" and not "patients". Unless you are a medical practitioner and you are busier than most doctors that is. And "then" refers to something related to time. For comparisons, the English language has a word called "than". I'm assuming you have enough patience to: 1) Learn...

    Mail not reaching its destination

I'm having the same problems for the last few days. Users who registered on my site are not getting their confirmation emails. I tried to check this by registering with a different email address, and that got returned as well. There is definitely a problem with the smtp service. Note that I am...

Well friends, everything seems to be functioning properly now. I can add contents too. Just enabled the geshifilter with customised "bash" library to reflect solaris and linux commands. You can check it out here. @garrettroyce, Thanks for all the help, man! :) Since the problem is...

Good news !!! Things do seem to be working fine. Removed a bunch of modules, including ctools, panels, nice menus etc. I was getting too involved in Drupal rather than focusing on content. I guess I don't need all that. (except geshifilter with custom library).

UPDATE: I disabled ALL the modules, and that allowed me to put the site in maintenance mode, and thus, run the update script. I'm hoping I will be able to fix this. Will keep you updated. Again, thanks for your help. :)

Thanks for the reply. Installing/uninstalling of modules requires that the update.php script be run. That in turn requires that the site be put in maintenance mode. As I have said earlier, it is NOT possible to put the site in maintenance mode, because that is giving me the same error message...

I must be really stupid, but I really don't understand what you are saying. The backup I am referring to is the one that x10 staff have been referring to from the very start of this ridiculous migration misadventure. And they have been assuring us that everything is backed up, including database...

Dear Garrett, Do you mean to say that "THERE ARE NO BACKUPS", or that I was right about everything I said ? It's kinda confusing...

The site is back online and the mail server is working as well. I created a few more mysql backups via "backup and migrate" module, but the "restore" link is throwing that dreadful error message. I don't know if the b&m backups can be imported from phpMyAdmin. And considering the fragile state...

Yeah, that was taken care of. But the site is showing the default "Welcome to x10... just created" page again. Also, the mail server isn't working.

That was what I had thought too. Not a "very" long shot. But I guess I"ll wait for a couple of days more till everything settles down a bit. Then I"ll do those experiments. I hope I don't have to start from the scratch again. Thanks for your help.

No, that file is present. I think it's something caused by the migration. No idea what, but must be, because everything was fine until a few days ago. my guess is mysql. I do have backup_and_migrate installed, with 1 backup of part of the site, but no files. I really hate these things. I wish...

Sorry for the delay. Nothing new on the log. The other thing mentioned in the log (reference to unknown function in node.admin.inc ob line 435) is something I can't fix. Not a php guru. May be you can? :) Syntax-Highlighted php Code

The log talked about a module "hide node links" which I had previously removed (not just disabled, deleted). But somehow that came back like phoenix. Anyway, I deleted the folder, and as usual, went to run the update script. But that requires the site to be in maintenance mode. When I click the...

Yes, as I said, I have disabled the logging and display of errors (as recommended by Drupal) Since Drupal isn't supposed to be displaying error messages, I think mysql may be the problem. Here's a shot of the error: Anyway, I"ll enable the logging and see what comes out.
