1 fatal error upon confirmation

I encountered "1 fatal error" upon submitting the confirmation codes. Then I was given 2 options to resolve it either to signup again or cancel, then I tried to signup again only to find out that I couldn't use my email again.

I believe this error is about my password which has more than 16 characters upon signing up. Is there a way to resolve this "1 fatal error" without signing up a new account again so that I could use this current email I signed it up with?

I will have to ask a staff member to assist you with this. There is currently a bug in signup that will not let an email from a failed signup be used again. If your password contains very unusual multi-byte characters, this is could be the problem. I also believe that it cannot be 16 characters exactly, but I could be mistaken.
