Yes, we know, the account panel doesn't work right now. We're working on solving the problem.
The reason the account panel doesn't work is that we had to take parts of the backend offline to sort the problems we have been seeing with sign-ups today.
This also means sign-ups currently is "on hold" so it may take several hours (12 hours or more is not unlikely), before your account is actually created, depending on how long it'll take to get this sorted and get the backend system to be fully online again, but it also depends on how many accounts already were waiting in line when you signed up.
When I know something more I will update this thread.
