Hey,

Just wondering if anybody out there would like to review my site! I just moved it back to my favorite webhost here a few days back, and phpmyadmin broke so I can't restore my databases, so until PHPMA is back, the Soldier's Zone and Forums should be left out of your review. Also, the News Feed on the home page, and the calendar on the right navbar should be left out until PHPMA is back.

Your first priority should definitely be to make a new header banner, that current one looks like it was made in way too much of a rush. All page images should have a decent amount of time put in to ensure that you get the best possible end product, which will provide the best experience for your users. Also, you have stated that Skype and TeamSpeak are your sponsors, which I'm pretty sure they're not, a phrase such as 'Team Software' would be more relevant as currently it is looking like they are endorsing your site.
In terms of design and content, the front page is looking a little bare and what content is there could really be under the 'About' section. A good alternative front page would be a latest news page where you can post announcements and any updates relevant to your site and group.

Very interesting website I must say!

Features:

-Matches! Has it's own "calendar" for events, very professional!
-Sleek and unique look, doesn't have a bland one-background-color thing going on. Spiced it up a bit :biggrin:.
-Has a forum! Good idea to have a community forum for members to connect with each other. Without it your site is very bland with nothing to do. People can go on your forums and post for hours.
-Has a decent amount of views, meaning it is hopefully popular, depends on when the site was made.
-Buttons well organized.
-Teamspeak. Very good idea. Allows members to talk together. Interaction between members makes people want to come back, at least from my experience this occurs.
-Sponsors? AWESOME! Makes you sound like you know what you are talking about!
-Overall, great job!

Downfalls:

Unfortunately, there are a couple downfalls...

-Typos, just briefly skimming over the website I have seen multiple errors in your sentences.
-There is some empty space on the pages. There should be something in their place.
-The forums have an error that my computer cannot connect to them, making it hard for the players to connect :frown:.
-The forums are SMF, which I personally do not like. I would go something like iPBFree or something like that. But that is just my personal taste.
-That's really all I can see...

Overview:

I would give the website as a whole 9 out of 10 stars. Well put together and I loved reviewing your site.

Thank you for the amazing review. Most of your cons listed are small moving problems and/or x10 problems that are HOPEFULLY resolved soon. As for typos, if you could list where my typos are to correct, ill send you some credits.

i think you should get another theme. if possible of course.

I get the following error displayed at the top

There is a blank space in the middle of the screen where the navigation bar is supposed to be. When scrolling over i see buttons but they are white until scrolled over so are not vissible.

Forum needs a little bit more content as well as you can design your own theme or grab another one at simplemachines.org

and i would suggest adding smf arcade. It adds a nice spark to the community.

i would also suggest grabbing http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=636 (pretty urls) and it allows you to change urls of posts from example.com/index.php?post=384 to example.com/games/ps3/best-games-for-ps3 or something of that matter

also add a link back to the homepage in the top you can do this by editing your subs.php or by adding a custom page by using the following

i suggest you reinstall it and try it again. After that it should work.

What i too suggest is that you restart the whole thing keeping the smf forums. Reason because you can do a website with a homepage and then forum with a little mod i like to call

from there you can then add many more features for making a guild clan. It can be really usefull.
