I think the design looks good. I would try to make it brighter though and add more color. That should make it more appealing and less dull. Grey usually means boring. Google "The Meanings of Colors". I'd also slap some better CSS up that B----.

Lemme know if you need a hand, I think your off to a good start.

too image heavy imo.... but it looks gorgeous otherwise. Also IMo grey is fine especially w/ the orange background (remember people these are like staple colors in half life anyway). I give 9/10

Your site is all English but you have Herzlich Willkommen - Besucher in German.
