I have two email accounts on my free hosting. I cannot access either of them.
This is the message I get when I try to logon via webmail:
Internal Server Error
500

User 'mdavisx3' is over quota.
cpsrvd/11.56.0.22 Server at xo7.x10hosting.com

I don't think I am over quota. If I need to get rid of some emails to free up space how do I do that if I cannot access my email?

All of your Free Hosting data is counted, website, logs, etc. and email. Even if you are on unmetered storage, you have a hard limit of 50,000 inodes (basically, entries in the file system, including files, directories and symlinks), and each email and folder in your mail is an inode.

You should be able to access your email (on disk) by looking at your home directory in the cPanel File Manager. You may want to take a tour through there to see if there are any log files or backups you don't need as well. Be careful, though - you don't want to delete any of the default stuff outside of your public_http or mail directories.
