I was updating the photos/slideshow on my website, when I tried to publish/Save I started getting this message

Then When I went to check my site it is gone and now just showing this message on a white page
Fatal error: Call to undefined function parse_uri() in /home/joannele/public_html/sitepro/index.php on line 29
Please help - I have no idea what to do... I completely removed the slideshow but that hasn't helped
