When I try to upload a folder via FTP, it seems to be messing up. rather than uploading to:
wordpress\wp-admin\css\theme-editor.css for example,

it uploads to: wordpress\wp-admin\csstheme-editor.css

it seems to be dropping the last \ from the path. It is causing problems, as the automatic Wordpress update crapped out, and refused to fix itself, I had to manually upload over 1000 files.

I maintain wordpress myself as opposed to letting the software in cPanle do it. I am on Chopin
Any ideas?

Darren

It could be your FTP client. What client are you using? Have you tried filling in a bug report? Are you using the latest version? What did you do before it started acting up?

I am using the latest version of Filezilla, and have never had a problem before. The update was performed through Wordpress' web interface. The only reason I noticed the problem in FTP, and wondered if it was related, was when I went to manually update the files myself.

can we close my call please. It was the FTP client. They've just released a patch.
