help with logging into filezilla using x10hosting

I have set up filezilla and put in all the info that x10hosting gave me for the ftp site, host, port, user and password but it still keeps giving me a critical error. I am wondering if it could have locked my account on x10 hosting?

did you set /public_html as a root path?

Make sure your Encryption type is NOT set to: Require implicit FTP over TLS.
Try changing your Encryption type to "Use explicit FTP over TLS if available", "Require explicit FTP over TLS" or "Only use plain FTP (insecure)".
This setting is in the Site Manager.
