    I've got 4gb. of ram and I think 12gb. in swap... I've got 2 more dimms free and a set of 512's if I ever have to jump up to 6gb.

    Certainly comes in handy for effects compositing...

    Its almost time to start a new poll. I doubt many people are still using 512 mb of ram anymore.

    12Gb Ocz Gold 1066 in an i720 overclocked to 3.9Ghz (aircooled - Noctua fan) Win 7 Ultimate x64. I can have up to 24Gb but I can't afford that yet.

    6 GB though it seems anything more than 4GB is pretty much pointless.

    1.23 gigs on my laptop. It runs XP and Fedora pretty well.

    4 GB RAM on my laptop and 512 MB DDR3 graphics running Vista 64 bit
    2 GB RAM on my computer and 256 MB DDR 3 graphics running Vista 32 bit

    And I have an old computer with... wait for it...
    128 MB RAM and 8 MB graphics running 98 SE

    Since my computer is about 4 years old, the highest amount of RAM back then was 2GB

    I have 2GB of RAM on my main Windows 7 32bit PC. On my old laptop which I run Ubuntu on has 512MB.

    I use my laptop for the majority and that is Windows 7. 2GB of RAM is sufficient for that.
