Mine is a Gateway its just about one year old though recently it starting to give us problems so I dont know what i am going to do with it.
gateway specializes in selling computers at lower than average prices. This often mean compromised quality.

i have an hp pavillion g60-110ca with 3gb ram an nvidia 8200m g and an amd athlon ql-60 1.9ghz/core cpu with a 250gb sata drive. the whole thing is 2.5 months old. the original vista got screwed so i am now running vista gamer edition and tiny xp with streamlined drivers. also running puppylinux 4.20 and ubuntu 8.10 i also have a 500gb external hdd which is about 2 weeks younger than the machine itself.

My computer was state of the art when I bought it almost 4 years ago. :happysad:

AMD Athlon X2 4800+, which was the best processor around in those days. It came shipped with the mighty nVidia GeForce 7800 GTX which was a £380 graphics card at the time.

The whole computer cost £1,800 when I bought it new. Now, I'd be lucky to get £300-£400 maybe, who knows.

I aint selling anyway. :thefinger

I'm getting a new one soon too! And I'm repeating my old mistake of paying a fortune, only to have it become more and more worthless as times passes by.

Well my piece of crap Desktop is at least 5 maybe 6 or 7 I lost track. my notebook is a mere 2 years old. and i think they both are slower than mollasses. My desktop XP, 512megs T_T to expensive to upgrade. notebook: Crappy Vista 1.5gigs Stupid acer :shifty: won't allow you to put in your own RAM. seriously it won't work if you put in two different sticks, you gotta have one of theirs atleast. I can't wait for the day I can build my own computers. But w/ this Econ it's lookin rough.

Get ready to be laughing your a** off AND amazed that it runs.....
HP Presario SR1710NX, running XP on a 1Tb SATA HDD....1.75Gb of RAM (yeah, it's been upped a few times)....and a 1.99 Ghz proc.....not including the 512Mb Gaxlaxy ATI Radeon 8400 video card, HP (something-or-other) DVDRW+-(etc) burner

This thing is a dino, but runs good, as long as you're not doing too much at once :p

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. I have a 10 GB hard drive. :D
