I have tired IE9RC and it is fast, it is very compatible with sites that I try already. It is not like IE8 that has quick a bit of compatible issue (surprisingly!)

I am sure there are more in IE but just a short list of features for IE9.
* Streamlined design
* Pinned Sites
* Download Manager
* Enhanced tabs
* New Tab page
* Search in the address bar
* Notification Bar
* Add-on Performance Advisor
* Hardware acceleration
* Tracking Protection
* ActiveX Filtering

One noticeable feature is the develop tools which is very help for web design.

Have you try it yet?
What is your take?

It's got some surprising issues.

Dojo ajax calls are not working for some reason and others are reporting Jquery plugins experiencing problems as well.
CSS3 support STILL lagging behind Firefox : Shadows, Gradients, curvy corners and transform are not available.

Internet explorer will never regain its former glory. This browser is losing his positions and it will continue to do so. The future is in Chrome, Firefox, Opera and the others, not here.

Internet Explorer 9 features tons of new features that makes this release a huge leap for Microsoft. While it does support some HTML5 and CSS3 elements, it seems to mostly be playing catch-up with the other browsers.

IE9 doesn't seem to support CSS3 shadows, gradients, animations. It does however support border radius, which other browsers have since the beginning.

A download manager is introduced with IE9 except just about all other browsers have had this for years.

It seems to perform very well in 3D Hardware Accelerated Graphics although I found Google Chrome to be about the same.

The RC introduces Do Not Track, which blocks certain tracking scripts from loading. Unfortunately, using the Block All feature breaks many websites as some legitimate scripts, including jQuery are being blocked.

While I think this release will put IE back with the rest of the competition as it incorporates many of the features others have, I don't think it really introduces anything revolutionary or new to the browser market.

I will migrate to Opera 10 because Opera 10 have full HTML 5 and CSS 3 support.
Why Microsoft havent it isnt clear but I think how will be better using full support.
And why is IE 9 better than one Opera 10 ?

I think that Google Chrome is better. But for html5 IE 9 is the best. Because IE cant install extensions like adblock plus. But Google can.

IE9 doesn't support:

* Application Cache (offline)
* Web Workers (threads in JavaScript)
* HTML5 Forms (validation mechanism, CSS3 selectors)
* JavaScript Strict Mode
* ForeignObject (embed external content in SVG)
* SMIL Animations (SVG animations)
* File API
* WebGL (3D)
* CSS3 Transitions (for animations)
* CSS3 Text Shadow
* CSS3 Gradients
* CSS3 Border Image
* CSS3 Flex box model
* ClassList APIs
* FormData
* HTML5 History API
* Drag'n Drop from Desktop
* ...

what is possible in IE9 but not working in other browsers :

* text-overflow doesn't work in Firefox 4.
* Calc is not supported in Chrome 9.

Isnt it clear ?

I will download Firefox 4; this browser have better features then all other browsers.The best browser today.
Enjoy in view
