Hi everyone.

I've got a problem. I unzipped a file which included an index.php into my root folder, but I already had an index.php there. Now, when I go to my site, I see the new index page, and I can't find the old one anywhere, but the irritating thing is I DIDN'T GET A WARNING MESSAGE. No popup telling me that I would overwrite a file, no question asking if I was sure I wanted to do this.

I'm very sorry if I sound rude, or too angry, or anything, I'm just frustrated.

There you go, not tring to be rude or anything, but it always pay to have at lease 2 backups at all times.

I know that x10 backup their servers, but how to get the file, i'm not sure if the restore is enabled. Go into cpanel and look for something like restore files (I don't know the correct name for it) If it not there, them it disabled.

I can certainly understand the irritation and frustration with that. Fortunately for myself, the various methods I use for for file transfer all DO warn about overwrites unless I disable the warnings.

it always pay to have at lease 2 backups at all times.
Very good advice for everybody.
