Let account lapse - any way of getting my website back ?

Hi there

I missed the reminder email and let my account lapse. I have signed up again and it recognised that I was a previous account holder from my email address but I have no idea as to whether I have the same username or not.

I have created a new domain of exactly the same name but when I went into site builder, no backups were found.

Is there any way that I can get my website back again ?

I have just noticed that my username here is champi11 whereas my hosting account username is listed as champi17. If the hosting username could be changed back to champi11, I wonder would this give me access to backups ? The account expired at the beginning of September

Once an account is removed from the servers for inactivity (or any other reason), the backups will be removed as well. In reality, there's really no reason to let backups from accounts that no longer exists take up space for any extended period (a day or two they might have been around).
