    As far as I know, on free hosting, Python is a no-no.

    you are "wasting'" you time by trying to use Python on x10hosting's free-hosting servers

    Currently the only CGI scripting language - which is officially supported on x10hosting's free-hosting accounts - is PHP
    Perl and Python are NOT supported on x10hosting's free-hosting accounts

    It's confusing what is stated here, but I believe it means that this line: "CGI has been temporarily disabled so this will not work." supersedes all the instructions it is giving.
