fixing windows ;) if emachines is good for anything, its that the repair CDs never need activating.

Re: Here's Mine

Specs:

Kick-ass E-Machines ( kick-ass parts in an emachines crappy micro atx case..)

Originally i had the Emachines T6003..then the mobo got pretty much fried from a storm in july so i decided to just get a new mobo and new parts and upgrade the thing...and now i am trusting on an APC battery to prevent that from happening again! SO here's the spcs and at the bottom are pictures thanks to imageshack!

Pictures...here's some pictures of the whole desk and stuff...adding more in a bit

And finally the desktop:

AN old picture of me when i was working under my desk...notice the battery backup working..wires are MUCH messier then they are now..i have them all bundled nicely.

Sorry for the blurry pics, i didn't have a direct light source, so they came out kinda blurry, and i kinda hurried to take them for this post :D

I've got the same desk. you just showed me where I can put my printer. The entire top tier is filled because I have a head unit for my stereo, and two monitors. Maybe I will install my web cam later and take a few pics of the desk. It will be a complete mess though, as I haven't cleaned in a month.

I don't have a pic for my new comp i got for christmas but i do know the specs;

Dell Optiplex GX270
2.8 ghz
80GB hdd
floppy
dvd rom
1gb ram
256 nvidia geforce 2600 AGP
small form factor
8 usb

extras:
15" dell lcd monitor
graphire 4x4 wacom tablet
philips speakers w/ radio

i like it for developing, games, school stuff. whatever. really quiet. used to have a beast that was really slow and was really loud. small form factor sucks with pci or agp cards cause you have to cut them down so the case can close.

Well I didn't realise just how outdated my desktop PC was until I read this. I hope to get an alienware next time round though.

My Sad Setup...

I'm sorry to say this... I don't have my own computer. My high school lends all the students a computer for 4 years. I was in the first class to get the computers, so it's pretty bad.

tc1100.jpg

Here's the rundown:
It's a tablet pc - a HP TC1100, with the sad, basic stuff...

Windows XP Service Pack 2
1.00GHz - Intel® Pentium® M processor
10.4" XGA (1024x768) display
1GB SDRAM memory
60GB hard drive
HP Wlan 802.11a/b/g w500
32 MB nVidia Geforce4 Go 420

I also got a small wireless optical mouse with tilt. (Not as good as it sounds)

BUT...

When I get my own computer Its gonna be the most Uberly thing imaginable with the best of the best stuff. I shall be the envy of the World!!! Mwahahahahahahaha!!

My computer is like 3 years old and it sucks. It's outdated piece of crud dell ( I hate them so much ). I did add on it, but now it's not any good like it us to kind of be :(. The new computer I plan to build ( have started ) owns :). It's in my price range so I'm happy ( I guess I don't really have a "price range" since my parents are the only source of money my checking account has )
