I'm back groveling again...

So, I changed my nameservers and parked my registered domain at x10hosting. However, that apparently also affected my email setup on my registered domain. I still want to be able to use my email setup there. How do I do this?

My domain hosting company gave me the mx records for my domain and advised that those need to be changed on x10hosting. I entered the information where I thought they should go but that's not working.

So this is what I did:
1. I went into cpanel (x10hosting) and selected MxRecords
2. I then selected my registered domain from the dropdown list (has my registered domain and my x10hosting subdomain)
3. Next, I added the two mx entries provided by my domain host (priority 10, mx00..., priority 20, mx01...)

Then tried to send a test mail to the email account, but it did not work.

Can someone please help me? What am I doing wrong?

You left out a step between 2 and 3

What setting did you pick for
"Email Routing"
I could be wrong here, but I'd pick Remote Mail Exchanger.

Personally, I'd forget using email on the domain host,
and just set up an email account on the web-host server
which auto does all that for lazy me. :)

Thanks a lot, rmsx10ho! Yes, I'd have preferred setting up my email accounts here on x10hosting, but I have such limited space allocated (512mb) that I can't afford to bite into that small piece. :(

And you're right, I didn't consciously select a choice for 'Email Routing'. I'll check that out.

Thanks again. I so appreciate you!
