I have the same exact same registrar (Letshost.ie) and issue as the user in the post linked:
https://x10hosting.com/community/threads/nameserver-error.193443/

The issue is caused by the extra regulation the .ie domain registry imposes. Basically I am trying to create an Addon domain for Barnraise.ie I will then redirect the existing barnraise.net to the .ie address as this is what I will be primarily using. To change my .ie DNS to x10hosting a DNS zone needs to configured on this side.

Hopefully this summarizes what needs to be done (extracted from the linked thread):
If they do not have a DNS zone configured, the IEDR will reject the DNS change. This zone needs to be the same (same serial) in all the Name Servers being applied. Once DNS is authoritative, the change will be accepted by the IEDR and propagation will start to take effect in the next IEDR zone reload.
Only your hosting provider will be able to fix this up for you (as they are the ones who would need to create the DNS record). Please forward this to them to create the required DNS record.

Thanks,
John
