I was wondering if there is a possibility of removing the Remote MYSQL button in cpanel since its not allowed on free hosting just a suggestion.

There is no real use for us to have the option in our Cpanel if we cant use it

while their firewall blocks remote access (to and from) MySQL - x10hosting has no way to remove the remote MySQL 'button' from cPanel

Not really. cPanel is third-party software that's only somewhat configurable and skinnable, both in practice and by license terms. The MySQL section more or less comes as a tool kit (databases, wizard, phpMyAdmin and the remote) that is present or absent as a single chunk.

If the admins really want to remove the feature, I believe that it is possible by custom configuration, or via the SDK for cPanel.
