Rewards system and directory

Just wondering if you could start a rewards system...


Each member gets 10 points @ the end of the month
Each helpful member gets 20 points @ the end of the month
Each moderator gets 50. points @ the end of the month
Each admin gets 100.5 points @ the end of the month

Another thing is that why not start a directory for x10 sites and then later other sites and then lead the spiders to it... I know they like directories..

helpful member is osmeone who help or tries to help other members on the forum and normal member is a normal member.

I know but some members may be helpfull but would maybe end up with normal points and visa versa.

I am not very helpful in the web app department, but try and help out ion the hardware forum, however that amounts to about 2 posts a week ::laughing:

The directories is a good idea.. putting it on a high PR site would benefit all the individual members as well, as googles ranking system elevates a sites worth buy how highly ranked the links to that site are

A good meta file (I think thats what it is called, not really a web guy ) with a directory based on type would help out as well. Also the new indexing service that google offers would help make changes appear more quickly
