Safe Employee Login System?

Hi,
for my website i need fellow staff members to do certain things on the site and i was wondering if anyone had any ideas like a login staff system that gave them the privledge to edit a file and not do anything else like delete the whole site. and also prevent swear words in the edited file etc. That way i can prevent my cpanel pass being exposed so if anyone had any ideas i would really appreciate the help.

that would be individual FTP accnts which would enable editing of anything you picked and not the whole site.

ok, would they have to download an ftp client to use it?

yea i suppose so if you give them ftp access they may want to get a good ftp client such as smartFTP

Yeah. I prefer WS_FTP LE, but from what I've heard it's not available for download anymore. SmartFTP is fairly good, too.

Yeah i use ws_ftp pro. It works great.

and i recommend a CMS maybe... dont know if u can limit user privilages though
