This doesn't seem to work. I set up a new user. Go to FTP, put in my user and it asked for a password. Then it never connects. "authentication failed"

Is the FTP option just busted? I want to be able to upload more than one file at a time and the file manager doesn't seem to let you do that.

Hi,

Please ensure you are using your domain name as the FTP "host". To authenticate, you can use your cPanel username (joetheje) and password, giving you full access to your account.

If you are trying to create an additional FTP account in cPanel, please remember that your extra accounts will be suffixed by the "@" symbol followed by your domain name. For example, if I made an extra FTP user named "admin", I would need to connect with the username "admin@website.x10host.com".

Thank you,

Ok that worked. Still seem to have trouble changing passwords on ftp users, but I created a new one and it worked! Thanks. :)
