I still can't look at my website on Safari on the Mac OS Big Sur, because every time I try, I get the error "this connection is not private. This website may be impersonating "hamtaroenglishgames.x10.host.com" to steal your personal or financial information. You should go back to the previous page."

I got this same error on my other Mac that is running High Serria with the SSL certificate issue. I also got the error when I tried to get to the website on a different browser(Firefox) on the same computer.

However, I got around this error on High Serria by clicking go to website anyway when I click on the details and if I understand the risks to visit this website. I really don't want to have to go through that again on Mac OS Big Sur and running Safari. The certificate error says "x.11.x10hosting.com does not match input" and was issued by R3.

I hope that's enough information to help out, and if there's anyway to fix the problem!

i think this is something more than an ssl issue.
when i try hamtaroenglishgames.x10.host.com i get this...
Firefox can’t find the server at hamtaroenglishgames.x10.host.com
it dont matter if i use http or https, i get same message.
im guessing this is DNS related.

@spacresx the fact you can't reach it is related to a spelling error on the domain in the post, there's on dot too much.

@sunset your domain is currently not configured to use ssl at all. The first step would be going to "Account Manager"->"Domain Setup" and enable SSL for the domain, with or without forced redirect.

Once you have it enabled you can go to: https://x11.x10hosting.com:2222/user/ssl/server and set it up. You should chose the option to "Create A Certificate Request". You may need to wait a bit for the certificate to generate, or if given an error try again at a later time as there can only be a certain number of requests within an hour and there are a lot of users that may attempt at the same time.

Using the server certificate works, but will give an error as that is not valid for your domain since it is assigned to the servers domain: x11.x10hosting.com

Thank you, Anna. Is the create a Certificate Request free? I'm not willing to pay anything for it..., especially as it's requesting a lot of information to be filled out.
