Unable to find SOA record while added A record

i am trying to add A record so that i can point my subdomain to another server but i am getting[FONT=verdana, arial, helvetica, sans-serif] [/FONT]Unable to find SOA record error , what should i do?

Try...

cPanel --> [ Advanced DNS Zone Editor ]

Reset Zone File --> [ more ]

Put check in front of "Are you sure..."

Click on [ Reset Zone File]
