Hi,

How do I get into my website, please? Whenever I have tried via the 'open cPanel' button (since the migration started) I get the white screen/browser tab and the message:

'Sign in Successful

Please standby while transfer you to your web hosting account.

An error has occurred forwarding your sign in'

I wanted to upload a screenshot of this but apparently cannot directly from my computer, hence the above text.

I'd greatly appreciate some help with this issue as it would be nice to tidy up the website a little and work on it on the few occasions when I have a bit of time for this.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

Thanks for answering. I have actually tried to log in a few times since x10 started the migration but as I thought it might be normal for cPanel not to work during this period didn't realize I was doing something wrong. I received the email reminder to log in maybe less than a month ago and it still didn't work. This whole year has been life-ruiningly awful for me and a terrible struggle to survive so I only approximately remember dates, sorry.

Bearing in mind I am only a bit website savvy, what do I need to do please, if I may ask?

An admin will review your account and verify the backup can be restored. I'm not sure where you're at in that list as our primary free hosting volunteer admin doesn't log in every day. You'll get a notification in this thread when it has been done.

Due to the automated suspension/terminations being halted we did run a manual purge in early March (it was started the 4th) and since your account did not have any logins the the 60 days prior to the purge it was terminated as inactive.

Due to there being no warning emails as those are part of the automated, currently halted, system we said we'd this time allow for a restore if requested within reasonable time.

Initially we said cutoff for restores would be one week, meaning in reality we should not restore anyone past Sunday 15th, though we extended it a little bit extra, but it was said that the last cutoff date would be on Sunday March 22nd.

You're lucky though that the restore is still possible for your account.
I'm running the restore now and the account should be good to go in a few minutes.

Hi Anna,

Thank you ever so much. Really glad to hear the good news. Wasn't expecting that so soon. Bar anything getting in the way, I'll do a bit of web tidying up tomorrow.

Many, many thanks.

Hello again,

How do I restore the content that was originally there back onto the website, please? I'm finding it rather difficult figuring out how to restore the website.
Is there a tutorial on how to do this here? I looked for 'restore deleted content from website' but there don't seem to be any threads related to that topic.
The pages I am seeing in cPanel e.g. 'file manager' are nothing at all like the 'build website' feature. Not very helpful. The website landing page is quite something to be pleased with:

TIA.

Looks like something went wrong with the domain during backup, I have sorted this so the site should now work properly.

DirectAdmin does not have sitebuilder the same way cPanel had one (there is a type of sitebuilder under softaculous, but it might not be compatible with what you have already built)
