Hello,

I installed WordPress a few weeks back to do some testing of plugins. After that I ended up installing a few other scripts for project management to see how they might work out and I have decided to go back to Wordpress as a base system.

When I reinstalled Wordpress today I got the follow error message: "Your PHP installation appears to be missing the MySQL extension which is required by WordPress."

I've installed and deleted Wordpress and other scripts many times and have not had this sort of issue. The obvious answer is that it lies in PHP, however I am asking if there is some sort of master reset that I can do to my account that will address this issue. Since i have nothing of value running on the server now, it would probably be just as simple to wipe everything, Wordpress, PHP etc completely out and just start all over.

Suggestions are appreciate.
