Name's Skizzerz on the forums and IRC. I'm the maintainer of this wiki (have access to the filesystem), am a Contributor/Moderator on the forums, and have root SSH/WHM access to the free hosting servers, so feel free to poke me if you need support with the wiki or otherwise.

I'm still working on the theme for the site, so please be patient while I work out the kinks. Leave a message on my talk page or on IRC if you find something that needs fixing.

Deletion template

To delete your free hosting account, please copy/paste the following in a reply to this thread and fill in the required information (boldface and in red for your convenience). Please note that we cannot delete forum accounts, only hosting accounts.

cPanel username:

( ) Inserting an X inside the parentheses signifies that I have made all necessary backups of my free hosting account and will not hold x10Hosting responsible for any data I am unable to recover after my free hosting account is deleted. The X also serves as my digital signature verifying that I have proper authorization to request account deletion of the account specified.

Deletion response

I have marked your account for deletion pending a 14-day waiting period. Should you change your mind about deleting your account, please post a new thread requesting unsuspension so that your account can be taken out of the deletion queue.

If this deletion request is so that you may create a new account, please let us know so that we can waive the 14-day waiting period and delete your account immediately. Once deleted, you should sign up for your new account by logging into your Account Panel with your email/password and following the links to create a new hosting account.

Thank you for using x10Hosting!

Deletion terminated

I have deleted your hosting account. Please note that for technical reasons, we can only delete hosting accounts, not portal accounts or forum accounts.

Thank you for using x10Hosting!

You were suspended for inactivity. It is a requirement that you must log into the x10Hosting forums once every 31 days to keep your account active. Posting is never required. I have unsuspended your account this time, but please be advised that you can unsuspend yourself for these types of suspensions in the future. See our wiki page about Suspensions for more information about activity requirements and how to unsuspend yourself.

500 ISE

500 Internal Server Errors are caused by errors on your account that you can easily fix once you figure out what the error is. The common causes for 500 Internal Server Errors are below:
1. Permissions. Files MUST be 0644 and folders MUST be 0755. The public_html folder MUST be 0750.
2. Not specifying a RewriteBase when using RewriteRules in .htaccess.
3. Trying to use php_flag or php_value in .htaccess.

Please see our wiki page for more information.

Since this issue cannot be resolved by the Community Support team, I am going to escalate this thread to a support ticket in our support section so that people better-equipped to deal with your issue can look at it. As a result, this will lock the thread you are currently viewing. To access the new ticket, either click on the yellow bar on top of this thread, or log into your account panel at and click the "Support" link on top.

Unfortunately serious violations of our Terms of Service, which you agreed to upon signup, are coined "Zero Tolerance" meaning that we do not give out second chances. Your suspension falls under this category, which means that your account will remain suspended and you cannot regain any form of access to your account, its databases, and its files per sections 6 and 8 of our Terms of Service. Your account will be automatically deleted in 14 days' time, perhaps longer.

You do not have a hosting account currently tied to your forum account. We have a policy in place where if you do not log into the forums once every 31 days your account gets suspended for inactivity. Any accounts that are suspended for longer than 14 days are automatically deleted in order to free up space for the people who use their accounts. Unfortunately, it appears that you may have fell victim to what I described above and your account was deleted. I can verify this if you can remember what your cpanel username was and post it in a reply (as you might just be logging in from the wrong forum account).

Unfortunately, once an account is deleted, all of the data is gone from our servers with no recovery possible. You are free, however, to attempt to create a new hosting account by logging into your account panel with your email address and password and following the links there to create a new hosting account.

It appears something got messed up when your account was being created, leaving you with only a halfway-created account. Unfortunately, the only way to fix this is to delete the account and have you sign up again. As such, I have deleted your account and you can sign up for a new hosting account by logging into your account panel with your email address and password, clicking Hosting at the top, and following the links there to sign up again. Let me know if you run into any issues (and list specific error messages and codes if you see them).

Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused, and thank you for using x10Hosting!

Defunct templates

These templates contain outdated information and should no longer be used. There are kept here for historical purposes.

I have unsuspended your account this time, but in the future you may unsuspend yourself for High Resource Usage suspensions. See our wiki page on High Resource Usage for more info on High Resource Usage and how to prevent it, and our page on Suspensions for more info on how to unsuspend yourself.

Wordpress is a notorious CPU hog, to alleviate some of the stress on the system, it is highly recommended that you install the WP-SuperCache plugin, and also disable any other plugins (especially Sitemap plugins!) that you don't need (Askimet is fine, and you should leave that enabled to prevent spam).

Country block

We recently implemented login blocks on FTP and cPanel from countries that have been blocked from signing up. Unfortunately there is no way to bypass this restriction at this time, cPanel logins from users with accounts created before the block should still work, but implementing a similar policy for FTP logins would be difficult if not impossible.
