Hi,
I wanted to install a softaculous AEF forum, but i guess i dont have a mySQL database free. I have utilized both the available mySQL databases. What can be done? Is it possible to use remote mySQL database?

Hi,

If you have hit your database limit (and you do not wish to remove any existing databases), you can install multiple software using a single MySQL database, through the use of "table prefixes". This means that two installations can share the same database.

If you are manually installing the software (by uploading the files through FTP or cPanel), most software ask for a table prefix during the installation process. This option is not available through Softaculous (since Softaculous requires a new database to be created).

Hi Dead-i,
I'm using wordpress (installed using softaculous), so accordingly, i can install Forum software using softaculous, but i may install on the same database if i use manual installation. Right?

So, i can do that work if i try to install manually?
