I ran into the same issue. I had to re-write some of my code to take into account the fact that safe_mode is now on, specifically CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION doesn't work if safe_mode is on.

Regarding the upgrades, what's going on with PHP? When the upgrades started I see that the PHP version had changed from 5.3.8 to 5.3.10, so I assume that a PHP upgrade is part of the overall system upgrade. I had to change some of my code to handle some differences between PHP 5.3.8 and 5.3.10...

That thread says the problem has been fixed although I still have the same problem. My support ticket was closed. I just filed another one.

I have noticed the same thing, although if I go into cPanel (when it's working), I notice that the files are still there, and the rest of the web site sometimes works, so I don't think you'll have lost any files.

One of the issues mentioned on the Status page that they're aware of is: They go on to say: I've seen upgrades to X10 in the past take anything from several weeks to several months. I'm not very optimistic that these problems will get fixed any time soon.

It's not ready. As of right now I can't access cPanel. Also, for quite some time now I haven't been able to access my files using FTP.

I can't access any of my files through FTP either. The support thread says: [Complete] Boru - Maintenance ... Completed on 4/6/2012. However, when I use FileZilla to access my files all I get is an empty directory listing. The files do show up in the cPanel File Manager, however.

Looks like they're making progress. FTP and cPanel seem to be working now, although cPanel doesn't seem to know which version of PHP is running; I think they're upgrading to version 5.3.10. It looks like the Apache web server isn't fully configured yet.
