Adding banner to SMF

Hi,

Does anyone know where to edit the forum and put in the the ad code? cos i installed it throught CPanel but i don't know what put to edit to add the ad code. Also are we allowed to add our own ad sence? like google clickor etc.

Go into your file manager, go into the SMF Folder. Then in your themes folder, find the theme that you are using. Then edit the index.template.php file and put the ad code in it right before all the code. If you want to center it use center tags: <center>ad code here</center>

Oh yeah, Thanks mate couldn't of done it with out your help just one more question. Are we allowed our own ad sence ads like google, clicksor etc?

Yup, just as long as they are not bigger then the x10 ad
