I noticed that some of the pages on my website were no longer working; they resulted in a 403 error.
Searching for the problem, it turned out that those were directories with an XHTML file for an index (that is, index.xhtml). XHTML files were no longer recognised by default, and I had to add a DirectoryIndex entry to .htaccess to make them work again.

Is this something that is a permanent change with the new control panel? If so, you should mention that somewhere, along with the solution.

Edit: I just noticed that the solution doesn't work for subdomains; those still give a 403 on my site. Is there something else need to do there?

Also, I can access neither DirectAdmin nor my email; both say my account and password do not match. But I gather those things are still being worked on and I need to be more patient?
