Google Adsense and ads.txt

Adsense is telling me that I need to add an ads.txt file in the root domain, which is obviously x10host.com and I don't have access to that. I have already added ads.txt to my root.

Is there something you can implement on your end or am I not able to use Adsense anymore with a subdomain?

I dont believe x10 hosting has to add anything to their server for that.
your root should be public_html (which you have access to, unless your suspended)
