the information from the private message may have threw me a little...
the ip is the ip address i type into the ftp program to log into right? i'm not sure what i'm doing wrong
in dreamweaver i have this as my settings:
how do you connect to your ftp server? ftp
what is the host name or ftp adress of your testing server? 70.85.87.52
what folder on the testing server do you want to store your files in? /home
what is your ftp login? <my login name>
what is your password? <my password>
