Leave empty to install in the root directory of the domain (access example: http://domain/).
Enter only the directory name to install in a directory (for http://domain/name/ enter name only). This directory SHOULD NOT exist, it will be automatically created!

(just using blog as an example)

This is just asking you where you want to install your page. If you leave it blank it will install in http://domain.com. That means whoever types in http://domain.com into their browser will get to that page first. If it's a blog, then they will see the blog first. If you install your blog at http://domain.com/blog/, then people will have to type that to get there, instead of just the original url. It really depends on whether you want to do multiple things with your account or not. If you had a forum, a blog, and a personal page, for example, Your blog could go at /blog/, the forum at /forum/, and the personal as the default.
