When I log in and try to enter the member area, I receive a message indicating that I don't have a website. My website is functioning, and I can log in, but I can't enter the member area. Are you experiencing technical difficulties of some sort?

No. In the x10 Basic cPanel theme, a "website" is a named collection of files. (In other software, it might be called a "project".) You have the files (and a working website as the rest of the world would use that word); you just haven't gathered them together into a named collection. If the "no website"message bothers you, you can use the create a custom website option and add your existing files to it. (You can also choose to use the x10 X3 cPanel theme using the "switch theme" option. The X3 theme doesn't use the "website" concept.)
