I'm doing some stuff with HTTP (Apache) and trying to find out what is causing the high load besides the flood of requests. The thing I'm doign with Apache restarted the service, which I just realized, which is causing it to take 19823682392364234 hours!!! Hahahaha. I turned it off for a few minutes again.

The images were most likely stored in your browsers cache so it did not need to retrieve them again.

It should be starting to speed up now, as NedreN's fixes settles in.
